Anastasia Inspires Me

Hi Sunshines!

It's another one of those posts where I share a piece of my life where something inspired/inspires me. This inspiration has been around since I was a little girl and still sticks with me to this very day.

The film Anastasia is my all-time FAVORITE movie. The love story, the dresses, the songs, everything about it makes my artist heart blossom. Why wouldn't it? Dimitri is completely and totally dreamy for an animated character.

But that's for another time. Let's get down to Anastasia and the wonder of her beautiful dresses. Not to mention she's flat out gorgeous with makeup skills that make me look like a 5 year old drew on my face.

The way they sparkled in the light or how the pastels just popped out made me wish I could live an animated life of wonderous colors.

I mean...

Who wouldn't fall in love with this?

The details and stunning fit just make my designer side want to scream. It's far too perfect to attain yet it makes me want to create it without giving up.

In all honesty, Anastasia brought out this inner designer side of me at a young age. It was one of the first things that triggered my love for fashion.

Oh! Did I mention the scene in Paris speaks to me? Who could've guessed...

The very fact that Anastasia is now stated as a Disney Princess trumps my love for all the other Disney Princesses (Sorry Belle).

Seriously though, the beauty of details put into her dresses were just so perfect. No more words, just admiration.
